Hello, I am looking for any information regarding my Grandfather Anthony P. DiGorgio. He was attached to the 821st as a motorcycle messenger. I am interested in any websites that refer to the 821st and those who bravely served. Thanks

I'm a grandson of a member of the 821st, Company A. His name is Derald Miesbach and he's from New Plymouth, Idaho. He died in 1975 and is survived today by his three children, a daughter named Sherylin, a son named Robert and my mother, Linda. If anybody might have known him I'd love to hear more about the path he took through WWII. He didn't like to talk very much about the war and I was to young when he was alive to know about it. Some of our family have taken a great interest in his military history and would love to know of anybody that might have known him or can tell us more about were the 821st went through the war. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My dad, John Nilon, served with the 821st TDBN Company C. His close friend, Pat Raftery served (I believe) in Company B. My dad died in early 2001 and Mr. Raftery a year or so latter. If anyone has any information or recollections of either of these men I would appreciate hearing it. Thanks.

My father, Robert E. Hablitzel, served as 1st Lt., I believe, in the 821st. He is 95 years old and in good health despite being diabetic. My mother, 84, still cares for him at home (Red Bluff, CA). He has kept a scrapbook about his time in the military and I just recently looked through it again after visiting home. I live in Vermont. Dad used to attend the reunions, but would not be able to do so now. He was a wonderful father to us 6 kids.
